Situated 30 yards from the River Severn, The Swan Inn has what most local anglers consider to be the best fishing spot directly outside our hotel.
Ironbridge has a long and great tradition of fishing not only on the Severn but there are some great still water and canals locally situated.
We are offering a mini break for anglers that is very tempting.
Arrive on the first day settle into your room and then make sure you have all your bait from the local Angling shop just down the road. (We will make sure you have all your day permits to fish the Severn)
Have a hearty meal in the restaurant and ready yourselves for an early start in the morning. We will have breakfast ready for you and a packed lunch to see you through the day. Bring a flask and we will fill it up for you as well (restricted to tea or coffee!)
After your days fishing, stroll back to the hotel to enjoy an evening meal over a drink or two as you talk about the, “one that got away” (If you have any pictures you take we will get them up on our wall in a new, “Hall of Fame”)
After a good nights rest we will see you on your way with a hearty breakfast.
